Who We Are
Transforming Environmental Challenges into Economic Opportunities
Leveraging data management and AI, the Critical Mineral Resources Network is pioneering a revolutionary approach to abandoned mine lands, bridging environmental restoration with economic revitalization. Unlike traditional environmental organizations, we see beyond contamination, recognizing these sites as strategic assets with immense potential for critical mineral recovery, rural economic development, and national security.
Our mission is radical yet pragmatic: transform up to 500,000 U.S. abandoned mine sites into regenerative economic hubs. By leveraging advanced technologies, we're creating a unified database that connects environmental remediation with industrial innovation. We target the critical intersection of environmental protection, economic opportunity, and national mineral security.
We address five urgent challenges simultaneously: the critical minerals supply crisis, environmental legacy burdens, rural economic decline, wasted land resources, and fragmented data systems. Our approach turns environmental liabilities into economic engines, with the potential to unlock up to $100 billion in critical minerals, generate over 500 jobs, and reduce risks for 63 million people near contaminated public lands.
Strategically positioned at the convergence of technology, policy, and industrial need, we're not just cleaning up mines—we're redefining how we view environmental resources in the 21st century.
